Job Description

The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations at the Murray, KY facility, including transportation, assembly, and kitting activities. This role supervises a team of approximately five direct reports and ensures products are picked, assembled, and shipped accurately, safely, and on time. The Supervisor plays a key role in supporting productivity, quality, cost control, and a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members in the timely and accurate assembly and shipment of customer orders

• Direct daily activities to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

• Communicate, apply, and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety and operational standards

• Organize staffing and workflow to meet daily, weekly, and monthly demand

• Drive productivity improvements through process efficiencies and team development

• Partner with Customer Service and Purchasing to align resources with order volume

• Assist in identifying performance gaps, root causes, and corrective actions

• Oversee inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and audits

• Support budgeting and cost control within approved operating levels

• Maintain effective communication across departments and leadership levels

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

• 1–3 years of warehouse experience required; prior supervisory experience preferred

• Ability to lift heavy items (occasionally 60–75 lbs) and work at heights up to 26 feet with provided safety equipment

• Strong judgment, decision-making, and organizational skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient with AS400 and PC applications (Word, Excel)

• Self-starter with the ability to multitask and plan workload and staffing effectively
