About This Role

We are seeking a meticulous Nuclear Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst or Engineer to join our team. The QA Analyst/Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of operations, equipment, and processes within a nuclear fuel cycle facility. This role involves being part of the team developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance programs to meet regulatory and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs in compliance with NRC, DOE, and ASME standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Oversee the qualification of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams.
• Review and approve technical documentation.
• Support the development of training programs on quality assurance policies.
• Prepare and present QA performance metrics and reports.
• Participate in regulatory reviews and inspections.
• Stay informed about evolving regulations and standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to perform trade studies and make clear recommendations.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in QA tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Evidence of exceptional ability.
• Experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Quality assurance experience in the nuclear industry.
• Certification in Quality Assurance or Nuclear QA.
• Advanced degrees.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work extended hours and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $80,000-$170,000 annually. Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
