SALARY: $54-58k a year based on experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years litigation experience 
• Plaintiff experience in person injury preferred.

 
JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:

• Our complex litigation team is searching for a legal assistant with experience handling mass and class action cases. The successful candidate is willing and able to work in person and has a background in calendaring, legal filing in state and federal court, assistance with drafting pleadings, propounding, and answering discovery, preparation for trials and handling client calls.
• Due to the fast past environment, it is necessary to be efficient, organized, detail oriented, able to prioritize duties and adhere to company policies and procedures.

 
QUALIFICATIONS

• Technologically savvy including proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with federal and state codes of civil procedure and litigation processes.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Resourceful and proactive in dealing with internal and external issues.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work under pressure.
• Ability to negotiate and problem solve.
• Compensation: DOE.

Education and Experience:

• 2 years complex litigation experience.
