About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to take the lead in ensuring that all regulatory compliance efforts are in line with global laws, industry standards, and platform policies. The CCO will be responsible for developing and owning the company-wide compliance strategy, with a focus on various data protection frameworks. This includes implementing and monitoring processes for consent management, data minimization, retention, and deletion. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building the company's first compliance framework, policies, and internal controls, as well as overseeing industry self-regulation programs and ensuring adherence to standards from ad tech frameworks.
Applicants for the CCO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in compliance, privacy, legal, or ad tech governance roles, with a preference for those with a background in ad tech, search syndication, or high-risk ad tech operations. Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CRISC, or CCEP are also preferred. The role requires experience in managing large-scale traffic networks and a strong understanding of data protection and privacy regulations. The CCO will be expected to conduct audits, serve as a primary contact for regulatory bodies, and stay abreast of evolving regulatory trends.
