Job Description

4-6 months Contract to Hire

Candidates must be flexible with shifts. Always start training on day shift Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and purify DNA samples for sequencing
Operate and maintain next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms
Perform PCR amplification for research and clinical projects
Analyze sequencing data using bioinformatics tools
Ensure sequencing run quality and troubleshoot issues
Document procedures and results accurately for audits and reports
Calibrate and maintain sequencing instruments and equipment
Collaborate with R&D and QC teams to support drug discovery projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably in biology, biochemistry
Any industry experience would be a plus, lab experience through school coursework is acceptable
Basic understanding of hands-on biology experiments
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and time management skills
