T his position is located in the city of Sacramento .
Under the Direction of the Staff Services Manager I, Contracts and Procurement Section, and in close collaboration with staff representing all Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) programs and field offices, this position is responsible for a wide variety of procurement functions associated with both consumer and administrative acquisitions. This position serves as a primary resource and point of contact for all procurement-related issues for designated field office districts serving approximately 100,000 Californians with disabilities, processes procurement requests for goods and services, assists with the administration of DOR’s CAL-Card program, provides training and guidance to DOR purchasing agents in accordance with procurement guidelines and procedures for both consumer and administrative purchases of goods and services, and reviews both administrative and consumer purchases for purchasing trends analysis and to ensure compliance with state and federal policies and procedures.
Will also consider Staff Services Analyst for recruitment purposes.This is a 12-month limited-term position that may be extended and/or may become permanent pending budget approval.
