\n\nMedical Surgical Float RN Job Details\n

• Location: Anderson, SC 29621 (South Carolina healthcare jobs)\n
• Unit: 6 South, Post-Surgical Med/Surg (Resource pool across 5 Med/Surg and 4 Telemetry units)\n
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025, End: 3/16/2026)\n
• Patient Ratio: 1:6\n
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n
• Orientation: 16 hours (includes online modules)\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1630-$1750\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact state (pending license accepted, must obtain prior to start)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical RN experience (2 years preferred)\n
• BLS certification required\n
• Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system preferred\n
• Ability to float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
• All requested time off must be submitted with application\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on post-surgical Medical Surgical units\n
• Float to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units within the hospital as needed\n
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 6 patients per shift\n
• Perform clinical skills including IV management, wound care, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, and more\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV therapy, physical therapy (PT), respiratory therapy (RT), pharmacy, and social services\n
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EHR\n
• Complete orientation and required online modules prior to start date\n
