The RN will assist with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac interventions, monitor patient response, and ensure the highest standards of care in collaboration with physicians and the interventional team. This role requires strong critical thinking, technical proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, procedural environment.\n\nRequirements:\n\nLicensure & Certifications:\n\nActive Alaska RN License (required for auto offer)\n\nBLS and ACLS (required)\n\nExperience:\n\nMinimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience\n\nFirst -time travelers accepted\n\nSkills:\n\nCompetency per unit description (UD)\n\nMust be comfortable floating within scope to EP or IR as needed\n\nSchedule Details:\n\nShift: 4x10-hour Days (07:00–17:00)\n\nOn-Call: 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 – Monday 0730)\n\nWeekend Requirement: On-call and approximately 1 scheduled Saturday per month\n\nBlock Scheduling: Not available\n\nGuaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off 1 shift per pay period)\n\nRTO Policy: Limited – 1 time-off request per 13-week contract\n\nFacility Information:\n\nFacility Type: Acute Care Hospital\n\nDesignations: Magnet Designation | Level II Trauma Center | USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska\n\nTotal Staffed Beds: 407\n\nCharting System: Epic\n\nScrub Color: Provided by facility\n\nParking: Free\n\n✅ Locals: Not accepted (must reside 50+ miles from facility)\n✅ Pending License: Accepted (license required for auto offer)
