Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging activities aligned with our curriculum to support children's learning and development.
Assist children in meeting developmental milestones, complete observations, and help with schoolwork or remote learning as needed.
Create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children and their families.
Actively supervise children during activities and ensure their safety at all times.
Maintain regular communication with children, parents, and staff to address the needs of the children in our care.
Adapt to changing schedules based on enrollment needs, and fill in for teachers as required.

About the Role:

Substitute teachers are scheduled based on availability and may cover different classrooms and shifts.
Typically, you will receive your schedule the Friday before the upcoming week, with the option to cover shifts if you're available.
Lesson plans will be provided, but there may be times when you'll need to improvise.
Hours may fluctuate based on the number of children enrolled.

Desired Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required):

Experience working with children in any capacity (teaching, childcare, tutoring, etc.)
Familiarity with early childhood education and child development
Ability to create and follow curriculum/lesson plans
Comfortable interacting with parents, guardians, and staff
Experience with positive discipline techniques
Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules

Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

Strong knowledge of child development and early learning standards
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Basic computer skills

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
Clean background check
CPR/First Aid certification (must be completed within 90 days of hire)
