As a Senior Data Engineer , you will lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP BW and HANA solutions that power data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role blends deep technical expertise with business acumen and collaboration, ideal for professionals passionate about transforming data into insights.

What you will be doing:  

• Design, develop, and support advanced data models using SAP BW, HANA, and reporting tools like SAC, Tableau, and Business Objects. (30%)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions. (20%)
• Optimize data extraction and provisioning using SDI, SLT, and SAP standard extractors from modules like FI, CO, MM, and SD. (15%)
• Implement hybrid models and LSA++ architecture within HANA Studio and BW Modelling Tools. (10%)
• Conduct unit and integration testing for BI solutions and ensure high-quality deliverables. (10%)
• Provide technical documentation and best practice guidance for data warehousing and reporting standards. (10%)
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain existing BW/HANA flows and BI components. (5%)

What you bring:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW and HANA architecture, data modeling, and development.
• Strong SQL scripting and performance optimization skills in HANA.
• Experience in data integration using SAP Data Services, SDI, SLT, etc.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP BI/HANA certification.
• Experience with SAP ECC, CRM, and modules like SD, FI, and COPA.
• ABAP understanding for BW user exits and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with version control and deployment strategies for SAP environments.
