Job Title: Remote Travel Consultant

Hourly Pay: $18 - $32/hour

Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and friendly Travel Consultant to join our team! In this role, you will provide expert advice to clients on travel destinations, accommodations, tours, and other services. If you are passionate about travel, have excellent customer service skills, and enjoy helping clients plan their dream vacations, we want you on our team.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist clients with planning and booking their travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and tours
• Provide expert advice on travel destinations, weather, local attractions, and cultural highlights
• Customize travel itineraries based on clients' preferences, budgets, and special requirements
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and changes to bookings with professionalism and efficiency
• Research and stay up-to-date with the latest travel deals, industry trends, and travel regulations
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to ensure seamless travel experiences
• Provide clients with travel documents, such as itineraries, tickets, and travel insurance details
• Keep accurate records of bookings and client preferences to provide personalized service
• Assist with group travel planning and corporate travel arrangements as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is a plus
• 1+ years of experience in travel consulting or a similar customer service role
• Strong knowledge of travel destinations, accommodations, and travel logistics

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work with travel booking systems and basic office software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of travel regulations, visa requirements, and industry standards is a plus
