Summary

As a Physician Assistant (Pediatrics) at Marque Urgent Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our pediatric patients. This position is essential for maintaining our patient-first approach and ensuring that our community receives timely and effective medical care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pediatric patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures as required.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record system (Experity - there will be training).
• Assist in managing urgent care operations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care outcomes.
• Stay updated on best practices in urgent care medicine.

Qualifications

• Current Medical license in California.
• Experience in urgent care or outpatient settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and basic life support protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems or computer-savvy.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
