Pediatric Occupational Therapist *Per Diem* - Providence Anchorage at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist provides assessment, planning, and implementation of occupational therapy services for children in collaboration with medical and care teams. This per diem role requires appropriate licensure and pediatric experience, supporting direct patient care in compliance with professional standards. The position is based in Providence Alaska Medical Center, emphasizing patient-focused and inclusive healthcare delivery.

Description

Assesses, plans, and implements pediatric Occupational Therapy services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family. Assists in direct patient care. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the American Occupational Therapy Association.

This position is Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, or
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, or
  • Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy, or
  • Upon hire: Alaska Occupational Therapist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Experience in pediatrics.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
