Job Description

Packer / General Labor (3rd shift) Shift: Sun-Thu (11pm to 7am) Pay: $15/hr. + 10% shift differential Description: Produces manufactured goods by operating injection molding and related equipment at established processes and inspecting and packaging product quality according to established standards and methods. Skills & Requirements: Regular attendance in compliance with HR policy. Safely operates injection molding machines and other production machines and equipment. Follows instructions contained in traveler/work order packet. Performs product sampling actions as described in the Quality Inspection Plan. Assists co-workers by giving breaks, sealing bags and boxes, inspecting product, grinding runners, and packaging as time allows. Maintains a good working relationship with fellow employees. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by cleaning equipment, sweeping floors, and disposing of trash. Accurately reports time, rejects, and production using computer systems. Accurately packages product according to Traveler Packet, Visual Aid or Work Instruction. Performs basic in-process inspection routines as detailed by the Quality Inspection Plan or Work Instruction. Able to setup a parts weigh scale and accurately weigh count packaged product.
