Minimum Requirements:
NYS Certification in core area being tested or Special Education
Desired Qualifications:
Commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality for all after-school review sessions.
Experience preparing students for Regents exams, tutoring, or providing targeted academic support.
Strong ability to build rapport with students and create a positive, motivating study environment.
Familiarity with Regents exam formats, question types, and review strategies.
Comfort using digital tools or review resources.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with administrators, counselors, families, and regarding student progress and needs.
Commitment to equity, high expectations, and helping all students build confidence and readiness for their January Regents assessments.
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Run after school review session for up to 12 hours between the dates 12/18/25 and 1/22/26.
Create a calendar to be shared with students advertising all review sessions including location and time.
Foster a positive, respectful, and motivating environment that supports students in preparing for their upcoming Regents exams.
Provide direct instructional support in assigned Regents subject area(s), including small-group review and one-on-one assistance.
Monitor student understanding and progress with key exam skills and provide targeted intervention or reteaching as needed.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, engagement, and completion of review activities or practice materials.
Ensure student safety and supervision throughout the duration of the after-school review sessions.
