Mary Patton Design offers a joyful, approachable, and creatively exciting brand experience. We are a team of four, seeking an Interior Designer to join our studio in Houston, TX. Our goal is to embrace each client’s unique creative style, crafting elegant, eclectic interiors that blend modern with vintage and high art with personal treasures to create moments of unexpected beauty.
Our Interior Designer will be responsible for supporting design projects through creative input, technical drawing, and client interaction. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to produce high-quality design work.

Design
● Work directly with Mary Patton (Principal & Creative Director) to translate design vision & concepts into client presentations that clearly convey the design plan to clients.
● Attend client meetings and site visits to gather requirements and provide updates.
● Develop client presentations that clearly convey, including, creating detailed drawings, plans, and 3D models using design software.
Delivery
● Source materials, furnishings, and accessories in line with the design vision.
● Work closely with Operations Manager to ensure seamless communication with
vendors and suppliers to procure project materials.
● Ensure design deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
● Ensure clients are working within internal design software to upload and provide
prompt input and feedback on design development (e.g., Gather)
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design.
● Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Adobe
Creative Suite).
● Strong creative and technical skills.
● Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
● In-office and on-site with clients in Houston (30 hours per week; 10 hours flex
work from home)
● Flexibility to travel to clients/vendors outside of Houston (<25% of time)
