Job Description

Pries is looking for a General Labor Packer to add to our team! No previous experience needed!

We have 2 shifts available: This is a 2:2:3 schedule format. You will work 2 on, 2 off and then every other weekend.

• 6am-6pm
• 6pm-6am

Duties include:

• Receive instructions and work orders for the job from machine operator, or Team Leader.
• Plan details of working procedure and gather tools and materials required. (ie. Paper, wood, racks, spacers, clamps, etc.)
• Repetitively lift 50-75lbs with a partner as well as operate an over head crane.
• Examine products for defects, such as deep scratches, bent material, bow, dents and flatness.
• Report identified defects to Team Leader
• Pack/Stack product based on production specs, pack codes, and notes, to prevent shifting/damage and meet customer requirements. Reports any discrepancies to machine operator and/or Team Leader.
• May hand stamp or stencil identifying information on cartons or shipping containers.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to Team Leader and or Safety Department.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Clean and organize work area.
