Summary:
Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual operations.
Work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
Read, comprehend, and follow technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications in English.
Apply sealant to surfaces per specifications.
Install various aircraft system components, including panels.
Operate mechanical lifts (e.g., ladders, tiger lifts, snorkel lifts).
Use chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes.
Work in confined spaces with associated training and certification.
Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.
Perform bond and ground measurements.
Conduct in-tank sealing and structural work in fuel tanks.
Wash fuel tanks and perform rework as needed.
Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance .
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; vocational school, Associate, or Bachelor's degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in aviation/aerospace.
7+ years of experience using software applications (internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, or other specialized tools).
7+ years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.
7+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical fields using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
7+ years of experience with wiring design drawings, system interconnects, wire routing, and equipment installation drawings.
Meet physical requirements including bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, twisting, standing, walking, climbing/balancing, crawling, crouching, and head/neck flexion or extension.
Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.
Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
