Civil Engineering Senior Project Manager (Solid Waste) Job Locations: US-PA-Langhorne Category: Waste Management Type: Full-Time Overview As a Civil Engineering Senior Project Manager in the Waste Management Practice at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will manage project teams to complete engineering tasks such as airspace and earthwork volume calculations, prepare and review technical reports, design stormwater management systems, leachate collection systems, and landfill gas collection systems. You will also perform geotechnical analyses and prepare landfill grading plans, project details, and specifications. You will be responsible for developing proposals, project budgets, and schedules, managing engineering staff, and performing quality control. You will interact with clients, contractors, and government officials, impacting the project from conceptual design through regulatory review, bidding, and construction. Additionally, you will mentor staff, support their professional development, and work with management to tailor your career path through various professional development activities. Qualifications 10-15 years of experience B.S. in Civil Engineering (M.S. preferred) Professional Engineer licensure (P.E.), with registration in PA or ability to obtain Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software, geotechnical modeling software Established clients/contacts in the Solid Waste sector Experience in scope of service and budget development, with proven project management skills Participation in professional organizations Excellent communication skills Ability to coordinate regulatory reviews About Us CEC is ranked as a Top 500 Design Firm and Top 200 Environmental Firm by Engineering News-Record.
