Certified Excavator Operator With Skid Steer Experience

United Trades of America is looking for a skilled and certified Excavator Operator with expertise in operating skid steer equipment to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating excavators and skid steers to perform a wide range of excavation and earthmoving tasks on construction sites. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities:

• Operate and maneuver excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with project requirements and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure proper functionality and identify any repairs or adjustments needed.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to accurately complete excavation tasks, including digging trenches, grading land, and moving materials.
• Conduct proper site preparation, including clearing obstacles, removing debris, and marking boundaries, in coordination with the project team.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as surveyors and ground workers, to ensure effective communication and project progress.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or incidents to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
