As a Security Officer - Screener - Full Time in New Braunfels, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener in the tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, working collaboratively with your team, and putting people first. This position values agility, reliability, and innovation, reflecting a caring culture that prioritizes teamwork and strong ethical standards.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity through visible presence and adherence to protocols.
• Document and report any incidents or irregularities according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
