*Must be able to train for 3 weeks on 1st shift *
Job Summary: Responsible for assembly product for individual orders and loading on trailers for shipment.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
Receive load packet with pick tickets from load coordinator
Hand out pick tickets to pickers
Use Shop Floor system to locate product
Use forklift/high-lift to pick the product (use proper age dates when picking order)
Scan the picked product to the order
Wrap each pallet using an automated wrap machine
Fill out proper paperwork(Talley sheet, seal tag, pallet report(Costco).
Load assigned trailer in order of shipment stops and to meet weight requirements
Work in a safe manner
Follow Food Safety Guidelines
Follow Housekeeping Procedures
Qualifications:
Ability to operate high lift/ forklift in a safe manner
Must be able to demonstrate safe work practices
Must pass certification to operate a high lift/forklift
Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. consistently throughout shift
Ability to work in environment of 28 degrees
Ability to operate scan gun
Ability to operate Shop Floor system
Ability to operate automatic wrapping machines
Understanding of the logistics of loading a trailer
